TERMS OF SERVICE

The deal between you and Virtue.

LAST UPDATED: 31 July 2026 · CONTACT: support@trainvirtue.com

These terms apply when you use the Virtue app or this website. Virtue is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], based in Oslo, Norway. By using Virtue you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use it.

READ THIS PART

Virtue is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Recovery estimates, training load figures and coaching suggestions are informational only. They are calculated from what you log, and they can be wrong.

You are responsible for your own training decisions. Do not use Virtue to diagnose, treat or manage any medical condition. If you are injured, ill, pregnant, or unsure whether an activity is safe for you, consult a qualified medical professional, not this app. If something hurts, stop.

What you get

Virtue gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you control, for as long as your subscription is active and you follow these terms. You don't own the software; you're allowed to use it.

Beta software

Virtue is currently in beta. That means features change, break, and occasionally disappear. Data loss is possible. Back up anything you can't afford to lose. Beta access is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy or continuity.

Subscriptions, trials and refunds

If you're a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Digital content delivered immediately with your consent may be an exception; Apple's process governs App Store purchases.

Your content

Your workouts, meals and health data are yours. We claim no ownership of them. See the Privacy Policy for what we do and don't have access to.

Acceptable use

AI features

Some features use large language models to interpret your input and produce suggestions. AI output can be inaccurate or misleading. Treat it as a starting point, not an instruction. We may set fair-use limits on AI requests to keep the service running.

Availability

We try to keep Virtue working, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Features may be added, changed or removed. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export or stop paying.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virtue is provided as-is and we are not liable for injury, lost training progress, lost data, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Ending it

You can stop using Virtue at any time and cancel your subscription through your Apple account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes go to the Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

BEFORE YOU PUBLISH

This is a plain-language starting point, not legal advice, and I'm not a lawyer. Fill in [LEGAL ENTITY], 31 July 2026 and support@trainvirtue.com, and confirm the subscription and refund wording matches what you actually build in StoreKit. If you register a company or start taking money at any real volume, have someone qualified read it. Delete this box before going live.
